AutoClass is an Artificial Intelligence-based automated classification tool (used by over 70 Fortune 500 companies) that can handle both item descriptions and supplier names, providing accurate and granular categorization codes. It can process high volumes of data, in multiple languages, of any quality and provide accurate classification codes in any classification schema such as UNSPSC, NATO, eClass or even a customer proprietary code structure.

AutoClass is designed to run in a completely hands-free environment, integrated with Data Warehouses (such as SAP BW, PeopleSoft SCDW, etc.) as a data-quality software tool, or embedded within e-Procurement systems. Using patented AI methods, AutoClass provides far superior classification results in terms of consistency and accuracy, as compared to alternate methods of 'mapping'. The AI-based self-learning and iterative model building mechanism adds the required flexibility that enhances the products classification performance over a period of time.

AutoClass is available in 2 configurations

Batch - In batch configuration, AutoClass delivers high volume classification of bulk files at throughputs exceeding 150K records per hour. This configuration is ideal for integration behind an ETL tool and the DW staging area. Using a scheduler function, AutoClass automatically processes batch data files as they are extracted from source systems and transferred to the warehouse.

 

LiveConnect - In live-connect configuration, AutoClass delivers high-speed classification in real-time to single-item queries that emanate from source systems, such as eProcurement requisition portals. Using flexible integration APIs, AutoClass live-connect can be embedded behind eProcurement systems such as ARIBA, SAP SRM, etc. providing accurate, on-the-fly commodity classification to purchase requisitions.
